Have you just thought that if we looked at the things like God looks at them we could have a different perspective all together . Truly God is Peace , He is Love , He is Patient and kind . As life hits us with so much uncertainty with everything falling apart around us we are just trying to keep it together from one minute to the next.

When thinking about God’s Perspective , he would not worry about tomorrow just like his word says too. He would relish every moment that was in front of him and even who was in front of him . He would love like no other and be kind to others , giving of himself and helping others .

I think God loves us so much that he would stop us in our tracks , in our busy lives to have us reflect back to what is truly in front of us . Think about it … God before this pandemic was even in front of us and we may not have even taken the time to hear from him . God is speaking to us all the time weather it is in nature or a person speaking to us or even whispering a word to us ….

we stay so busy on what we think is so important and so necessary for our success we even push him away much less our spouses and family , friends and even people we just don’t have time for any more.

Could you imagine if we learned from this pandemic and grew during this …understanding what truly was important and what was not . Realizing the true beauty in every moment of the day that has been put right in front of us ..that every day really is a blessing that has been beautifully handed to us to live and breathe and to be a part of .

The word uncertainty has been spoken about so much this season , from the news stations from the president to our next door neighbors . This is the one time in our lives something has happened that not one person has actually experienced in their life time , which creates fear from an unknown enemy ( I hear the president and speakers also continue to talk about this UNSEEN ENEMY)

This got me thinking …there is one person that has overcome even this and his name is Jesus … He has overcome the world . Instead of having to feel uncertain , this actually gives me my peace back that He Has Overcome The World and I don’t have to know everything or even know the answers of what to do next . God has gone before me on this journey and knows exactly what I need and even has the plans ahead of me already laid out for me … so I can trust and have confidence in my God that even this … this season ..this pandemic …this uncertainty .. that my God does not doubt or have to wonder what happens next instead I can be in REST

To stay in peace and find joy in this season.

I truly know what it means to feel God’s Rest … It’s not an anxiousness about me , not feeling I have to do a million things, to not start worrying about everything that could go wrong in this season .

I am a business owner with 17 employees, and I had to close the doors when this pandemic hit , not having any money coming in to pay monthly bills for the company , not knowing what will actually happen or how long we will be closed and not understanding how much debt the company will take on when opening the doors or if the doors will be opened back up .

What I do know is that I’m in a peace even with all of this happening around me. I’m trusting in God .

Did you know Trusting is also a form of worshiping God …He tells us over and over again to trust him ..have confidence in the trusting and Know He is God ..He tells us Be still and Know that I am God ..and to Be still I am fighting for you .. but still a lot of times we choose to not trust to just take the reigns back of somewhat control we think we have and start the process of worrying . To Truly Trust him is where Rest comes in . Im choosing to walk into his rest and to enjoy the season I am in ..even when the world speaks of nothing but uncertainty , I am choosing to be certain on a God that never fails .

Revelation 21:4 says: “And God shall wipe all tears from their eyes and they shall be no more death; neither sorrow nor crying; neither shall there be anymore pain; for the former things are passed away.” The greatest possession we shall seek in our entire lives is “God's Rest which is synonymous to Peace.
